Meal Planning For the Week

Happy Monday!  I'm still working on getting all of my pictures from the weekend together, so a weekend recap post will be happening closer to Tuesday or Wednesday.  We had the best time with friends this weekend at the Aiken Steeplechase horse race.  The weather couldn't have been more perfect.  Sunny and in the 70's, I even got a tinge of sunburn on my shoulders which I'm not hating.

I wanted to go ahead and share what we've got on the menu for this week, because I'm pretty excited about it.  This is the week leading up to my birthday, so I'm pulling out all the stops.  Calories don't count on your birthday week (DUH) and I'm going to be treating myself a little more than I usually do.  Bring on the maple syrup.

Monday - Thai Beef with Basil

Tuesday - Thai Beef with Basil

Wednesday - Chicken and Waffles (adapted from this recipe)

Thursday - Out to dinner with friends

  1. Duh is right when it comes to calories not counting on your birthday (or vacation, or holidays...). Can't wait to see how the chicken and waffles turn out!
