Southern Culture

For the last month or so I've been dying to try a new restaurant, Southern Culture, in Greenville. This weekend Mr. T and I finally made our way there for Sunday Brunch.  It. Was. Awesome.

They have a great brunch menu with some really unique options.  They definitely put a new spin on brunch.  They also offer bottomless mimosas for $12/person.  We took them up on that offer, of course.

I ordered the Dixie Land Poutine,  home fries topped with apple wood smoked bacon, goat cheese, sawmill gravy, and two fried eggs.

T tried the Fried Yard Bird and Eggs, a fried chicken breast over two biscuits topped with two over easy eggs and sawmill gravy.  And he managed to capture an awkward picture of me as he was taking a picture of his food.

If the food alone didn't do it the live music did.  Their live music selection was perfect for brunch.  Mellow and easy going, easy listening even if you are nursing a terrible hangover.   We were so impressed that before we left we went ahead and made a reservation for next Sunday.   Already looking forward to going back!  Think I'll get the Chicken and Waffles next time.  Mmmmmh Mmmh.
