This weekend my sister
April visited along with her husband Ian and their daughter Camille. On Saturday, the boys went to Clemson for the first football game while April and I stayed in Greenville with Camille. That morning we took a walk down by the River on our neighborhood's walking trail. Camille loved this. She could't stop staring at the rushing water and pointing and saying "wa-wa, wa-wa". Later that day we hit up a new fast food joint down the street where I gave her her first taste of milkshake, which she was a giant fan of. Sorry, April.
The boys returned home after the game, and we spent the rest of the evening relaxing on our back patio. The temperatures dropped just a bit for Saturday night and it felt so good out. I'm not a fan of fall, but I can appreciate a slight drop in our blazing South Carolina temperatures.
Having a 15 month old in the house was quite a change for us. We definitely had an atypical weekend. Bedtimes were much earlier, and we had a 6:30 AM wake up call each morning to a little voice yelling "dog-dog" on repeat. Camille couldn't get enough of George, and T and I couldn't get enough of her. I just cherish every moment we get to spend with that little girl!
Hope y'all had a great weekend, too!
That smile with the milkshake get me every.single.time!!!!! Y'all were the perfect hosts, no surprise there though!
