Life Lately- Thanksgiving Recap

For the last couple of weeks I've felt like work and life have been spinning so fast around me that I can't keep up. Every time I cross one thing off of my to-do list, 5 other things need to be added.  But, after a few exhausting weeks of chaos, things are finally starting to get back to a normal pace.  I finally feel like I'm just beginning to get my grip back on life.

I should be posting my November Goals update this week, but let's be honest, nothing on that list really got done. No Christmas tree, no fireplace, no new recipes were tried, you get the picture.

I was, however, able to take a few days to unplug and relax with my family over Thanksgiving.  This Thanksgiving was quite different than any we've had in the past.  While our holiday usually revolves around the turkey, this year revolved around a little ham by the name of Camille.  See what I did there? This was my niece Camille's first Thanksgiving and we had so much fun spending it with her.

T and I alternate Christmas and Thanksgiving with our families every year, and this Thanksgiving was my turn.  On Thursday we headed to Charlotte to see my extended family on my Dad's side.  The rest of the weekend was spent at my parents' lake house.  The lake is super low key; no cable, barely any cell phone reception, and very close quarters.  We spent our days crafting, playing with the baby, and just relaxing together.  We were even able to squeeze in a mini photo shoot for our Christmas cards this year.  Here's a little preview of two of my faves.

I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
